In 2017, the Boronia Cricket Club officially opened it's state-of-the-art training facility. The project, in conjunction with Knox City Council and Federal Member Allan Tudge, was a much needed upgrade to the original space.

The new facility consists:

- A 5 strip turf table

- 3 synthetic lanes

- A turf replica synthetic lane (plays like a turf wicket)

- 25 meter level grassed run-ups

- 6 meter high soft pitch roof

- 4 meter high external fencing

- Retractable netting to create a multi-purpose space
