Please refer to the expectations below, which form the Players Code of Conduct:
1. Play by the rules at all times and respect the spirit of the game.
2. Do not argue with umpires. If you disagree with a decision, allow your captain, coach, or team manager to address it respectfully during a scheduled break or after the match.
3. Maintain self-control. Verbal abuse of players or officials, provoking opponents, or any form of intentional distraction is not acceptable and will not be tolerated at Boronia Cricket Club.
4. Put in your best effort for both you and your teammates—your commitment strengthens the whole team.
5. Show good sportsmanship. Acknowledge and applaud good play, whether it comes from a teammate or an opponent.
6. Treat all players, officials, and spectators with respect. Never bully, intimidate, or take unfair advantage of others.
7. Cooperate with your coach, teammates, opponents, and officials—every person contributes to making the game possible.
8. Play for enjoyment and personal development, not just to meet expectations from others.
9. Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of every person, regardless of their gender, ability, background, or beliefs.
